Our Story

Established in 1984, the Cat Clinic was the first feline only veterinary clinic in the St. Louis area. Dr. Cacciottoli took ownership of the clinic in 2017.

Cat owners from all around continue to seek us out for quality, specialized care for their cats. The clinic strives to deliver the best and most compassionate care possible.

Meet Our Team

Brittany Cacciottoli, DVM, DABVP (Feline)

Veterinarian

Dr. Cacciottoli earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Environmental Science in 2009, followed by her DVM from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She started out as a small animal veterinarian in Dayton, Ohio, but her long time passion for cats drove her to pursue feline only practice. She returned her hometown of St. Louis and joined Cat Clinic in 2014, later purchasing the clinic in 2017. Throughout her career, she has been especially drawn to senior feline medicine and soft tissue surgery. Driven by a passion for feline medicine, she pursued ABVP specialty board certification in feline practice to enhance her expertise and became a diplomate in 2024. Outside of work, Dr. Cacciottoli enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and her beloved cats. She also assists in leading a Girl Scout troop and loves finding the next adventure by traveling and reading novels.

Sydney

RVT

Sydney is a full time Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Ross College in Canton, OH with her degree in Veterinary Technology in 2020. She joined the Cat Clinic team in 2023. She has become an integral part of the clinic and has a keen interest in dentistry. At home, Sydney is adored by her two beautiful Persian cats.

Gwen

Veterinary Assistant

Gwen has accumulated a decade of experience working at various veterinary clinics. She joined our team in the Spring of 2024. She has developed an interest in raising neonatal kittens and understanding feline behavior. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter, and their multiple cats.

Pam

RVT

Pam is a full time Registered Veterinary Technician who joined our clinic in the fall of 2020. She graduated from Midwest Institute with her degree in Veterinary Technology in 2019. She has experience in emergency veterinary medicine and has a particular interest in animal behavior, specifically cats. Pam has 4 cats of her own that she babies at home.

Tina

Vet Tech

Tina is a part-time Veterinary Technician who joined our clinic in the fall of 2020 after several years of experience in small animal primary and emergency care. She graduated from Midwest Institute with her degree in Veterinary Technology in 2018. Tina has a great love for cats and helping their owners. She has 5 cats of her own that she dotes over.

Anthony

Vet Tech

Anthony graduated from Midwest Institute with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2024. He joined our clinic shortly after that. He is known for his unshakable calm no matter the situation which is a true superpower when working with cats. Outside of work, Anthony dedicates his time to helping shelter pets and is a very talented artist.

Melissa

Veterinary Assistant

Melissa has over 16 years of experience in veterinary medicine. She joined our clinic in 2021. She brings an incredible depth of knowledge and compassion to our team. While everyone here at The Cat Clinic has a touch of “cat whisperer” magic, Melissa truly shines with our more anxious or nervous kitties.

Tozie

Clinic Cat

Tozie is our beautiful, shy, and undeniably fabulous clinic cat. She specializes in providing emotional support with tiny squeaks, dramatic slow blinks, and a strict “pet me, but only if I want pet” policy. She prefers to observe clinic life from her cozy hideaways. She will occasionally grace clients with her presence when she feels the moment is right.
